Scottish Development International Trade Mission to Egypt February 9-15

Scottish Development International (SDI), the international economic development arm of the devolved Scottish government, is bringing a trade mission to Egypt. The mission will visit Cairo and Alexandria for 6 days from Sunday 9 until Friday 15 February, and has been organised in partnership with the British Embassy in Cairo.
The mission comprises 26 Scottish companies and education institutions, and is part of SDI’s strategy to internationalise Scottish companies by increasing their involvement in key strategic centres such as Egypt. The mission has a strong focus on energy and education, with the participation of leading oil and gas supply chain companies and some prominent universities and technology colleges, including the Universities of Aberdeen, Glasgow and Strathclyde. The mission members hope to develop partnerships between Egyptian and Scottish companies and organisations in the form of joint ventures, partnership working and investments.
