Message from the Chairman

In the upcoming month the UK embassy will be hosting the Annual General Assembly Meeting. Also I would like to take this opportunity to highlight to you the Gala Night events that will take place on June 9^th 2007. The event will be attended by approximately 800 guests who will be entertained by Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram. The proceeds in this event will be used to invest in projects that create jobs in Upper Egypt.

 

Furthermore, BEBA will work in parallel with Traditional Arts Limited, a subsidiary of the Prince's Charities, to train and educate young Egyptians in a skill that provides employment and keeps alive traditional arts.

 

BEBA is currently working on a campaign to attract UK and EU investment in to Egypt, with the help of the commercial attaché from the UK Embassy. There will be the publication of a booklet designed to highlight Egypt as a viable business and investment destination.

 

I wish everyone good luck in their pursuit of business and investment and hope that our work in BEBA will bring more success to all our members and supporters.
