Message from the Chairman

Now that BEBA has past the decade mark we wish to thank all our members and supporters for the continuation of our institution. BEBA's continuance has always been derived from the strength of its members, and will continue to do so.

 

On the 15^th of January a visit to one of the Cadbury Factories was organised to give our members an idea of a booming business operating in Egypt. Mr. Gawad Abaza, the Managing Director of Cadbury, in a presentation highlighted Cadbury's success in the Egyptian market throughout its long brand history, innovation, food standards, and use of a successful logo.

 

On the 17^th of January a presentation by prominent speakers explained the benefits of the Investors in People (IIP) program. The IIP presented itself as the framework for all different types of organisations to help improving business performance via HR development. Through active discussion, it was illustrated how the innovation and competitiveness of the Egyptian economy can be improved by implementing a clear strategy for HR management in the upcoming years.

 

In the next month there will be a visit to the Smart Village hosted by Vodafone. All members and supporters will be informed in a nearing time the date of the visit.
