Message from the Chairman |
|
In March, BEBA took part in the KPMG Hazem Hassan seminar about the new Customs Law at the Egyptian Business Association premises. The BEBA also took part in promoting the 'Public-Private Partnership MENA' summit to its members.
The BEBA invited the Minister of Transport, H.E. Mohamed Mansour, to speak about renovating the railway infrastructure. Mr. Mansour updated the attendees about the current transport system situation especially the railway and about the optimism of its future outlook. The BEBA had taken part in the International Food Exhibition in London with 11 Egyptian companies focused on the production of food and drink products.
I will take this opportunity to highlight the upcoming Fifth Business Roundtable, which is taking place in June 5th at the Four Season Hotel. The event is organised by the Economist magazine and promoted by the BEBA. Details about the conference or on registering for it can be found on our website. I will also take this opportunity to highlight the talk by H.E. Mr. Mohammed Zoheir Garana, Minister of Tourism, regarding the laws and regulation of residential tourism
We look forward to seeing you at our next event. May all our efforts help Egypt prosper and its people thrive to place Egypt back into the centre of the global commerce .
Best Regards, Mohamed Nosseir |

Dear Members and Supporters,
Towards the end of February, the BEBA organised a seminar regarding Egyptian Agribusiness missed export opportunities into the EU market. Those that attended consisted of businessmen from the agricultural export sector. They found great use of the consultations by Mr. Douglas and the other speakers. |
