Dear Members
I would like to wish you all a very Happy Ramadan. September has been a busy month for the BEBA. Various committees met and we truly hope that it will take off this year. On the 18th of September a very successful seminar on Trade Agreements was held at the Nile Hilton presented by Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, a distinguished academic person. |
|
The most important product of this Seminar is that BEBA, jointly with Global Trade Matters, decided to organize a Full Day Conference under the auspices of H.E Eng. Rashid to emphasize and explain the importance of Trade Agreements in promoting and supporting trade and export. The Conference will be held in November, and I strongly advice all members to take part in it. You will be informed after finalization of all details.
On the 10th of October and as our yearly custom, BEBA's annual Iftar was held at the Nile Hilton. This year along with H.E Sir Derek Plumbly, who honored us for four consecutive years as Guest Speaker, we also hosted H.E Eng. Sameh Fahmy, Petroleum Minister. The event was sponsored by various petroleum companies. We deeply thanks HSBC and Shell as lead sponsors, Royal&Sun Alliance,BP, BG, Chevron, Hilton ,Alkan Consult, as silver sponsors. Details of the event are published on the website.
I hope that BEBA will continue to be for you ,dear members, a catalyst in promoting and supporting Trade and Export.
Best Regards, Mohamed Nosseir |
