I am happy to welcome the 2007 Gala Night event which we are running under the banner "Egypt…Your Destination". This runs with the theme of encouraging foreign investment in to Egypt. The Gala night will be taking place in the Four Seasons Hotel and guests will be entertained by famous Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram.

I hope you enjoy our events in this coming month and I hope that we build on our networks and encourage foreign investment. Thank You to all our members and supporters for all their aid and support.

Dear members and supporters of BEBA,

In May Sir Derek Plumbly hosted the Annual General Meeting at his residence in the UK Embassy. In the meeting the first copies of the 2006 BEBA Annual Report were distributed to our attending members.

  Housing and Development Bank

The Bank's main objectives were achieved when we succeeded in our aims to providing suitable houses for people of limited income. Also to narrow the permanent gap between supply and demand in the real estate market, especially in the field of economical housing and Low-cost housing.

These projects covered almost all of the Egyptian governorates and our customer numbers exceeded 400,000. Beside our profound status in the real estate market, due to the big number of our customer base and to the various activities, the bank turned to offer an integral collection of banking services presented by the commercial banks. This happened with preservation of our core business in the field of real estate, finance, and investment in the housing sector.

Best Regards,

Mohamed Nosseir
